UNDP Indonesia Country Office Roster is part of the WIDE (Web of Information for Development) Roster Platform which is UNDP's on-line tool for the improved management of development experts. The roster platform allows UNDP teams to develop their own experts roster and offers the possibility to plug this into a global UNDP experts database. Any unit, including other UN agencies, can build their own rosters and easily connect those to other ones, creating a much bigger pool of 'proven consultants'. Ultimately, the WIDE platform offers an improved on-line mechanism to invite, receive, screen, and manage expert CVs and recommendations, all of which is based on the sharing of past experiences of working with consultants, hence providing the foundation for a reliable quality control mechanism.
