Millennium Development Goals - DocumentsMDG in Indonesia
Indonesia’s 2004 MDGs Report and the 2004 Indonesia Human Development Report were both the first of their kinds and served as references for formulating Indonesia’s National Poverty Reduction Strategy (PRS) and the National Medium Term Development Plan (2004-2009). At the provincial level, local government authorities are increasingly using the MDGs indicators as reference tools in formulating local poverty reduction strategies as well as for long and medium-term poverty reduction planning and programming. MDG Reports are expected to be used by all stakeholders as a basis to make adjustments to policies and programmes, and to accelerate the achievement of the MDGs in Indonesia.
